How to Check the CLAT Rank List ?

To download the rank list, your registration number and date of birth are required. You can follow the steps given below while downloading CLAT All India Rank List.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Consortium of NLUs i.e.consortiumofnlus.ac.in

Step 2: Click on the "CLAT 2022" tab

Step 3: Under the Notification column, find the Merit List for UG and PG

Step 4: Click on the "Merit List for UG/PG" based on your preference

Step 5: The rank list will be displayed in the form of a PDF

Step 6: Download the CLAT Rank List PDF and save it for future reference

The following details are mentioned in the merit list PDF of CLAT.

• Total Marks obtained by you in the exam

CLAT Rank List Preparation Process

Rank List is prepared based on the scores obtained by you in the entrance exam. The merit is published in descending order of rank, which means you will be given higher preference if you have a high score followed by lower scores.

You would be given first preference during the CLAT Seat Allotment if you ranked higher in the merit list.

If two or more students have the same scores in the CLAT examination, then the following Tie-Breaking procedure will be considered by the exam conducting body.

• If your age is higher, then you will be given a high preference

• Those who have scored higher in the Legal Aptitude Test will be ranked higher

• If both are of the same age and secured equal marks in the legal aptitude, then the computerized draw of lots will be conducted to decide who will get the upper position

CLAT-UG : Score Card

The scorecard is an official document that will be released by the exam conducting authorities along with the CLAT Result. This document will include the marks scored in each section and the total marks you scored in the CLAT-UG.

What Next After Publishing CLAT-UG Rank List ?

After releasing the rank list, you will be shortlisted for counselling and the seat allotment process as per the rank. The consortium is responsible for sending call letters for the counselling process.

You are called first for the CLAT Counselling if you have higher scores.

• The Consortium will release the counselling list after the first round.

• If your name is present on the rank list, you have to deposit Rs' counselling fees. 30000/- to confirm your seat.

• NLUs will provide you admission in UG and PG courses at colleges accepting CLAT scores through the counselling process.

Q. How is CLAT Rank List prepared ?

The CLAT merit list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates.

Q. How many seats are there in CLAT for general category candidates ?

In CLAT UG, around 1433 seats are for the general category offered by participating NLUs. While in LLM, there will be approximately 443 seats through CLAT 2021.

Q. Is CLAT rank list released offline ?

No. The CLAT Rank list is released only in online mode.

Q. When will I get the call letter for counseling after releasing the CLAT rank list ?

You will get the counselling call letter for CLAT 2022 depending on the rank that you secure in the CLAT rank list. You need to download, take the print out and carry it with you to attend the counselling for seat allotment.
